| Born on 15.10.1968 in Tbilisi, Georgia. 1975 - 85 studied in the most famous Georgian chess school at the Youth Palace in Tbilisi. Was a member of Georgian national youth team for 9 years, was several times Georgian youth champion. IM since 1997, has 2 GM norms. In his chess carrier he won several open chess tournaments and took 2nd or 3-d places many times:

Works as a chess trainer since 1986. He has chess students of different level and age, especially intensively works he with young talents.
Speaks fluently Georgian, English and Russian, good German.
He lives in Germany since August 2003. Since December 2003 works as a chess trainer at the sport high school in Dresden, since August 2004 he is main coach of Saxony.
